I worked in a family support service in Wood End for over 20 years where we had positive links and support from the Area Management Team of which Steve was a key member of staff.  I have attended many meetings with Steve where his common sense and no nonsense approach was both productive and supportive to the benefit of the local community.  He had many memories (often very amusing!) which he spoke to me about.  It was a pleasure to work with him and a privilege to know him.  My thoughts and best wishes go to Daniela and his family.
